Short version: we hold your name, your email and the plans you are part of, and nothing else.
What we collect
Your name, your email address and the plans you create or join. Whosin does not handle payments, so we hold no card details at all. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, who verify your email for us.

What your friends see
People on a plan with you see your name, your picture, whether you are in, and your share of the cost. That visibility is the product. Your email address is never shown to them, and people not on a plan with you see nothing.
Share links
Every plan has an unlisted link. It is not indexed and it cannot be guessed, but it is public: anyone who has it can open the plan and lock themselves in. Treat it like the plan itself and only send it to people you want there.
Analytics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, follows nobody between sites, and tells us how many people opened a page and nothing about who they are.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't tell anyone what you spend. The business model is the service, not you.
We email you the code that signs you in, and activity on plans you're part of. Nothing promotional without asking first. Invites are a link you share yourself, so we never see who you sent it to.
Deleting your account
Takes your profile and personal data with it. Charge records on plans you were part of keep an anonymized line so the math still adds up for everyone else.
